Gov. Ugwuanyi sues for peace in Enugu

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu has called on Nigerians to take advantage of Easter to advance peace, intensify prayers and commit themselves to God.

Mr Ugwuanyi, in his Easter message on Sunday, in Enugu, applauded Christians for the successful conclusion of the 40-day Lenten season.

He urged Nigerians to appreciate the reason for the celebration, come closer to God, and dedicate themselves to virtues that would promote peace, love, unity, and progress.

The Enugu governor also reassured Enugu residents of his resolve to continue serving them with the fear of God.

Mr Ugwuanyi also promised to work towards the advancement of peace and good governance in Enugu for the well-being of the people.
