Gov Yusuf reinstates Sanusi Lamido as Kano emir, sacks Ganduje’s emirs

Governor Yusuf has announced the reinstatement of ex-CBN governor as the Emir of Kano.

Governor Abba Yusuf has approved the sacking of the four emirs in Kano that his predecessor Abdullahi Ganduje installed and announced the reinstatement of former CBN governor Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as the emir of Kano.

The Kano House of Assembly had earlier dissolved the four emirates effectively sacking the emirs installed by Mr Ganduje.
