On Wednesday, a telecommunications services provider in Gaza, Paltel, said telecommunications services in the Gaza Strip had gone down completely once again.

The Palestinian company based in the West Bank wrote on Facebook that “all communication and internet services are down due to the ongoing aggression.’’

NetBlocks, known for monitoring internet blockages, also confirmed the renewed collapse of connectivity in the Gaza Strip on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

“The incident affects areas in the south, where telecoms have been partially restored over the last few days,” it stated.

On Sunday, Paltel announced that it was restoring telecoms services in the southern and central areas of the Gaza Strip after an outage lasting several days.

NetBlocks stated that other areas “have remained offline since the previous blackout’’ last Thursday.

Since the beginning of the war, communication networks in the sealed-off coastal area have failed several times.
