Heatwave kills 10 in Bangladesh
About 10 people—eight men and two women—have died in a week in Bangladesh due to scorching temperatures.
The government confirmed the deaths on Tuesday, which highlighted the danger of successive heatwaves affecting the South Asian nation.
Bangladesh is currently grappling with one of the most severe heatwaves in recent years.
The country ordered the closure of primary and secondary schools on Monday until Thursday.
