Import of vehicles rises in Mongolia

According to the National Statistics Office, at the end of 2023, 1,192,520 vehicles were registered in Mongolia, which has a population of 3.5 million.

Mongolia has imported 49,267 cars since the beginning of this year, an increase of 2.1 times compared to the same period in 2023.

Meanwhile, the Asian country has imported 11,280 trucks so far this year, up 46 per cent from the same period in 2023, according to the Mongolian Customs General Administration.

According to the National Statistics Office, at the end of 2023, 1,192,520 vehicles were registered in Mongolia, which has a population of 3.5 million.
