Passengers burnt to death in Lagos bus accident

Passengers in a bus were burnt beyond recognition on Sunday when their vehicle went up in flames in Lagos State.

The incident happened at Iyana-Oworo, inward Third Mainland bridge.

A video shared online showed the vehicle burning with lifeless bodies on the floor.

The spokesperson for the Lagos State Fire Service, Shakira Amodu, told Peoples Gazette that the fire had been put out.

He said the agency has no report on the number of casualties.
