Kano Fire Service saved 12 persons, property worth N130 million in one month: Official

The Kano State Fire Service said it saved 12 persons and property worth N130 million from 78 fire incidents recorded in March.

The public relations officer of the service, Saminu Abdullahi, disclosed this to journalists on Wednesday in Kano.

Mr Abdullahi also said that 10 persons died, while property worth N71 million were destroyed by fire during the period.

“The service responded to 27 rescue calls and 11 false alarms from residents of the state,” he said.

He advised the general public to handle fire with care.
