The Katsina government has reiterated its commitment to continued collaboration with security agencies to ensure improved peace and security in the state.

Mr Haruna was on a courtesy visit to the Katsina deputy governor.

Mr Yakubu noted that the NSCDC had earned its self-respect in the eyes of the public, adding that recently the corps in Katsina state had trained special vigilantes to assist in checking communities for improved security across Katsina.

The deputy governor assured of the government’s commitment to ending the lingering banditry, kidnapping, and other security challenges in Katsina.

Mr Haruna said he was in Katsina for a familiarisation tour on NSCDC formations and pledged to do everything possible to improve security in the state.

He lauded the Katsina government for its support to security outfits across its 34 local government areas and promised continued collaboration.
