The Katsina State government has donated a 41-seat bus to the Federal University of Transportation, Daura (FUTD).
The bus was delivered to the university management in Daura on Friday by Bishir Ibrahim, the chief store officer, Katsina State Government House.
Mr Ibrahim said the donation is in response to the university management’s request for an ambulance and a students’ bus.
He assured the state government’s determination to continue to support the institution and education in the state.
The vice-chancellor, Umar Adam-Katsayal, who received the bus, thanked Governor Dikko Radda for the gesture.
He said, “I want to use this opportunity to sincerely appreciate the governor for the donation of this 41-seat bus.
“I wish to also remind the governor regarding the ambulance he promised, as it will help us a lot in providing health services for staff and students.”
