LASEPA gets new general manager

Mr Ajayi succeeds Dolapo Fasawe, who has taken a higher responsibility in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The Lagos State government has appointed medical doctor and global health consultant Babatunde Ajayi as the new general manager of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA).

This is contained in a statement by LASEPA’s spokesperson, Hassan Mahmud, on Monday in Lagos.

According to Mr Mahmud, Mr Ajayi has years of experience in global health, disaster epidemiology, and environmental health.

Mr Mahmud said Mr Ajayi, a former special assistant to the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, led several projects and initiatives that improved health outcomes in the state.

Mr Ajayi succeeds Dolapo Fasawe, who has taken a higher responsibility in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
