A 28-year-old man Sikuru Morufu was on Thursday arraigned before a Mapo Chief Magistrates Court in Ibadan for allegedly stealing N3, 000 from a commercial sex worker.

The Presiding Chief Magistrate, O.O. Latunji had admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N100,000 with two reliable sureties in like sum after pleading not guilty to the one-count charge offence.

The chief magistrate adjourned the suit until February 26 for trial.

Earlier, the prosecution counsel, Inspector Salewa Ahmed informed the court that Mr Morufu committed the crime on January 19, at Idi-aro area of Ibadan, Oyo State.
