NDA asks Kaduna residents not to panic over shooting exercise

Ms Onah said the exercise is expected to hold from Sept. 6 to Sept. 8.

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) says it would conduct an introductory shooting exercise for Cadets of 74 Regular Course at Open Range Afaka and urged residents in the area not to panic.

The acting public relations officer of the Academy, Lt. Blessing Onah made the announcement in a statement issued on Wednesday in Kaduna.

Ms Onah said the exercise is expected to hold from Sept. 6 to Sept. 8.


She advised the inhabitants of Mando, Tsamiya, Kauya and Afaka areas to stay clear of the range area and not to panic on hearing the sound of the gunshots during the period of the exercise.
