The nationwide broadcast, slated for Saturday at 7:00 a.m., is part of activities marking Nigeria’s 62nd Independence Anniversary.

President Muhammadu Buhari will on Saturday at 7:00 a.m. address the nation as part of activities commemorating Nigeria’s 62nd Independence Anniversary.

Femi Adesina, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, confirmed this in a statement on Friday in Abuja.

Media outlets in the country are “enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast.”
