Veteran Nollywood actor Prince Adewale Adeyemo has died after succumbing to “a brief illness.”

“Hmmm, God, you know best RIP Prince Adewale Adeyemo,” Yoruba actor Kunle Afod posted on social media. “He passed on early today after a brief illness. God will comfort all his family, friends and colleagues.”

In 2021, Adeyemo was diagnosed with lung, liver, and kidney problems and later had surgery after donations from the public.

Adeyemo’s demise occurred less than two weeks after two other Nollywood actors, Obinna Nwafor (Saint Obi) and Murphy Afolabi, died.

Saint Obi died on May 7 in Jos, and a week later, Afolabi died after reportedly collapsing in his bathroom.
