North-West indebted to Tinubu, APC contact committee says

“It is time to give support to Tinubu unconditionally, but with conditions that he is going to make Northern Nigeria, most especially, great.”

Aminu Jaji, the director of contact and mobilisation committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Tinubu-Shettima 2023 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), North-West region, says the region is indebted to Bola Tinubu.

Mr Jaji said this on Thursday in Abuja at the committee’s inauguration, adding that votes from the North-West would significantly determine the country’s next president.

“The best thing that we can do in 2023 is to pay back to Tinubu, who supported our son, President Buhari, to be president twice. It is time to pay back what the other zone did for our son, a father and a role model, President Buhari,” Mr Jaji explained.

He added, “It is time to give support to Tinubu unconditionally, but with conditions that he is going to make Northern Nigeria, most especially, great.”

While urging committee members to work to achieve victory at all levels for APC candidates, Mr Jaji tasked them to take Mr Tinubu’s manifesto to the grassroots.

He noted that there was a lot of work to be done if the party must deliver its presidential candidate at the 2023 election.

He said this was especially because, unlike the 2015 and 2019 elections, President Muhammadu Buhari, who used to bring in bulk votes for the party, would not be on the ballot.
