The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) says it deployed 1,850 corps members to Gombe State for the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation exercise.

Jennifer Laha, NYSC spokeswoman, said this in a statement on Monday.

Ms Laha said the corps members were expected to report at the NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp, Amada, in Akko LGA.

“The 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation Course commences from August 28 to September 17, 2024 nationwide. In Gombe state, a total number of 1,850 prospective corps members are deployed to the state,” Ms Laha stated.

She advised the prospective corps members to ensure early arrival at the camp and assured that all arrangements had been put in place to ensure a hitch-free exercise.

Ms Laha appealed to the good people of Gombe State to accord the prospective corps members the usual hospitality that the state was known for.
