Obaseki approves new chairman for Edo LG service commission

In a statement by Crusoe Osagie, the governor’s spokesman, the appointment is with immediate effect.

Governor Godwin Obaseki has approved the appointment of Tijani Ugbodaga as the chairman of the Edo Local Government Service Commission.

In a statement by Crusoe Osagie, the governor’s spokesman, the appointment is with immediate effect.

Mr Ugbodaga is to replace Tom Uloko.

Mr Osagie said the government appreciated Mr Uloko’s service and wished him well in his future endeavours.

He said the swearing-in of the appointee would be held at a date to be announced.
