One killed, eight injured in shooting near West Bank

A gunman fled the scene but was shot later.

A shooting near the West Bank settlement of Maale Adumim killed one person and injured eight others on Thursday, according to Israeli police and emergency services.

Three gunmen arrived by car, opened fire at cars waiting in traffic near the settlement, before two of them were shot by security forces at the scene, Israeli police reported on Thursday.

Another gunman fled the scene, but was shot later.

Emergency services confirmed to the media that among the eight injured victims, two were in serious condition.
