Orji Kalu mourns as Buhari’s niece dies

Orji Kalu has commiserated with President Muhammadu Buhari over the death of his niece, Laraba Dauda.

Senate Chief Whip Orji Kalu has commiserated with President Muhammadu Buhari over the death of his niece, Laraba Dauda.

Mr Kalu, in a condolence message on Friday, acknowledged the good deeds of the deceased and urged the president to take solace in the fact that the deceased left behind remarkable legacies for her family and loved ones.

The former Abia governor also conveyed his condolences to Mr Buhari’s nephew, Mamman Daura.

“I condole with President Muhammadu Buhari over the demise of his niece, Hajia Laraba Dauda. The deceased was a woman of virtue, who was passionate about the welfare of the people,” said Mr Kalu. “She will be remembered for her good deeds. Our prayers and thoughts are with the President and his family during this period of grief.”

Mr Kalu prayed to “Allah to make Al-Jannah Firdaus the final abode for Hajia Dauda.”

Ms Dauda left behind several brothers and sisters, including Malam Mamman Daura, the President’s nephew.
