PDP extends tenures of North West Zone, Lagos State Caretaker Committees

The committees are to continue for no more than an additional 30 days upon the expiration of their current tenures.

The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party has approved tenure extension for its North West Zonal and Lagos State Caretaker Committees.

The party disclosed this in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, on Friday in Abuja.

The party said current members of the caretaker committees were to continue for no more than an additional 30 days upon the expiration of their current tenures.

“Consequently, the tenure of the North West Zonal Caretaker Committee has been extended from February 28 to March 28.

“The tenure of the Lagos State Caretaker Committee has also been extended from February 19 to March 19.

“All critical stakeholders and members of our Party in the North West Zone, as well as Lagos State are requested to take note,” the party stated.
