Police apprehend 13 suspects for alleged vandalism in Kano

The police command in Kano says it has detained 13 suspects for vandalising vehicles on the premises of the Kano High Court.

The police command in Kano says it has detained 13 suspects for vandalising vehicles on the premises of the Kano High Court.

Police commissioner Salma Dogo confirmed the development in a telephone interview on Thursday.

He said operatives of the command apprehended the suspects at the court premises.

Mr Dogo said the command adopted proactive security measures to ensure the safety of residents during the protest.

According to Mr Dogo, the police, in collaboration with sister security agencies, are conducting intensive patrols to guarantee the safety of the residents and protesters.
