Police arrest woman for trafficking teenager to Libya

Operatives of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested one Abike Olonade, for trafficking a teenager.

The command disclosed this in a post on its official X handle on Saturday.

According to the command, the victim is a 16-year-old pupil of Adeoye Lambo Secondary School in Obada Oko.

The police also stated that the suspect confessed that the victim had been trafficked to Libya.

The post read, “Suspected child trafficking: May 11, 2024. One Abike Olonade has been arrested for trafficking a 16-year-old student of Adeoye Lambo Secondary School in Obada Oko Ogun State. She confessed that the victim have been trafficked to Libya!”
