The police command in Katsina has decorated 109 newly promoted inspectors and assistant superintendents (ASP II).

The promoted officers were decorated with their new ranks in Katsina on Tuesday by police commissioner Aliyu Abubakar-Musa.

The officers were decorated in the presence of their elated family members, colleagues and friends.

The commissioner commended the inspector general of police, Kayode Egbetokun, for recognising the officers’ hard work and dedication.

He congratulated the officers on their well-deserved promotions and urged them to continue demonstrating exceptional commitment to duty.
