Police nab suspected Lagos drug dealer 

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) on Friday charged a 64-year-old man, Lucky Osuya, with drug trafficking.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) on Friday charged a 64-year-old man, Lucky Osuya, with drug trafficking.

The defendant is charged before the Lagos Division of the Federal High Court.

The one-count charge is marked FHC/L/590C/2022.

The NDLEA alleged that the defendant committed the offence on September 18 in the Ikate area of Lagos.

The anti-narcotics agency said the defendant trafficked 230g of cannabis.

According to the agency, cannabis, cocaine, heroin and other psychotropic substances are listed in the NDLEA Schedule as prohibited.

No date has been fixed for the defendant’s arraignment.
