The police command in Ebonyi has commenced investigation into the murder of a Point of Sale (PoS) operator, Louis Enoshi, at Umuogudu Akpu Ngbo community in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of the state.

DSP Joshua Ukandu, command’s public relations officer, told journalists on Thursday in Abakaliki that the incident occurred on Wednesday.

He said a full investigation had commenced to unravel the identity of the killers and bring them to justice.

A resident in the area, Monday Nweke, explained that the deceased was shot dead at his house on Wednesday morning.

“It’s a pity that Louis is no more; it’s too bad. The perpetrators should not go unpunished.

“This is a young man that has been working hard to make a living.

“I urge the police to ensure that the suspects are arrested and brought to book,” Mr Nweke added.
