Supreme Court affirms Ahmed Aliyu’s election as Sokoto governor

The Supreme Court on Friday affirmed the election of Ahmed Aliyu as Sokoto State governor.

Delivering judgment, Justice Tijani Abubakar dismissed the appeal by the Peoples Democratic Party and its governorship candidate, Saidu Umar, agreeing with the ruling of the election tribunal.
