Sweden’s heir to the throne Crown Princess Victoria and her husband, Prince Daniel plan to travel to the wedding of Norwegian Princess Märtha Louise.

Victoria’s brother Prince Carl Philip and his wife Princess Sofia would also attend the wedding in Geiranger in western Norway, a spokeswoman for the Swedish royal family said on Tuesday.

To date, the Swedish royals are the most high-profile guests from abroad to attend the wedding of Märtha Louise, 52, and Durek Verrett, 49, a U. S. citizen and self-professed shaman.

The Norwegian royal family, including King Harald V and Queen Sonja, both of whom are 87, and Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit, had previously confirmed that they would be attending the wedding.

Märtha Louise, number four in line to the Norwegian throne, is the daughter of Harald and Sonja. Haakon is her younger brother.

Preparations for this Saturday’s wedding at the picturesque Geirangerfjord have been accompanied by several controversies.

The British celebrity magazine Hello! has secured the exclusive rights to the wedding ceremony and reception, but the Norwegian royal family has expressed reservations about being exclusively photographed.

The streaming service Netflix announced that it was working on a documentary about the love story between Märtha Louise and Verrett.

According to media reports, the company has also acquired the TV rights to the wedding.
