Tambuwal praises Nigerian Army over civil-military projects

Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto on Wednesday joined residents of Sifawa and other communities in the Bodinga local government area in commending civil-military projects executed by the Nigerian Army.

The governor inaugurated the projects that comprised a paediatric ward at Goronyo General Hospital, a block of classrooms at Nizamiyya model primary school in Tangaza and the Emir Yahaya road in the Sokoto metropolis.

Other projects inaugurated were the newly-constructed mosque at Kassarawa, Jumu’at mosque in Bodinga town, Malam Sa’idu Nizamiyya School, a primary healthcare centre, a fire service station, drainage and road networks in the Sifawa community.

Mr Tambuwal praised the army for the projects, specifically commending Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt.-Gen. Faruk Yahaya, raised in Sifawa.
