Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag cancelled the team’s day off on Sunday after suffering a humiliating loss at Brentford on Saturday.

Ten Hag had agreed to give the squad a break for the remainder of the weekend, but the manner of the loss on Saturday evening prompted a change of heart.

According to the BBC, the Dutchman was seen at the club’s Carrington training complex early on Sunday morning to meet up with the team in the aftermath of the result.

Meanwhile, fans and pundits have criticised Manchester United after the 4-0 loss to Brentford on Saturday, with many citing reasons ranging from the players to the club’s hierarchy as the problem with the club.
