Tinubu bestows national honours on Super Eagles, gifts them property in Abuja

President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday conferred Member of the Order of the Niger on Super Eagles players for their performance at the Nations Cup.

President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday conferred Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) on Super Eagles players for their performance at the Nations Cup (AFCON 2023).

The Nigerian government also gifted each player a flat and land in Abuja.

The conferment took place during a reception at the State House on Tuesday.

The Super Eagles were runners-up in the AFCON 2023 tournament when they lost in the final to Ivory Coast on Sunday.

The match ended 2-1.
