Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan, on Sunday in Eugene, United States, bounced back from last month’s disappointment at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary, to win the 2023 Diamond League 100m hurdles.

Amusan, who finished sixth in the 100mH at the World Championships in August just a few days after her provisional ban for breaking anti-doping rules was overturned, stormed into her third Diamond League title in 12.33s.

It was the 26-year-old former World Champion’s best season. The victory sent Amusan into deep emotions as she celebrated her third Diamond League title on the track.

Meanwhile, Olympic champion Jasmine Camacho-Quinn finished second in 12.38s, United States’ Keni Harrison clocked 12.44s to finish third, while reigning World Champion Danielle Williams only managed to complete the race in 12.47s and finished fourth.

Jamaica’s Megan Tapper placed fifth with her 12.48s time, Alaysha Johnson and Nia Ali of the United States ended the race sixth and seventh, respectively, and Pia Skrzyszowska and Tina Jones placed eighth and ninth, respectively.
