Labour Party’s Peter Obi says Nigeria presently works for a small minority under President Muhammadu Buhari, adding the country should work for all.

“There is Nigeria; But there are no Nigerians. Currently, Nigeria works for a small minority of people; Nigeria must work for ALL Nigerians,” Mr Obi said.

The former Anambra governor disclosed this in a tweet on Sunday, highlighting security as his top priority if elected president come next year.

“Nigerians must be able to dwell securely and in safety wherever they live. This is the first duty of government. This makes security a top priority for me,” Mr Obi said.

The LP’s presidential candidate anchors his campaign on transforming Nigeria from a consumption country to a producing country.

Mr Obi will be up against Bola Tinubu, APC presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and host of other presidential candidates in next year’s election.
