Woman stabs boyfriend to death in Nasarawa

A woman in Nasarawa has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his boyfriend to death.

The incident happened at about 3:00 a.m. on Friday behind City Rock Hotel, Mararaba, Karu Local Government Area of the state.

Police Spokesman Ramhan Nansel said the suspect has been arrested and detained.

“The suspect was arrested and the knife used in perpetrating the offence was consequently recovered based on the directives of the Commissioner of Police, Mr Adesina Soyemi,” Mr Nansel noted.

The spokesman added that the suspect has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Lafia for further investigation and subsequent prosecution.
