Since 2018, I've owned the Dyson Supersonic dryer. Although I love it and recommend it to others, it doesn't suit everyone. It protects from heat damage, but it is not cheap and therefore not the best option.

The magnetic attachments are my favorite. I have had the unfortunate experience of dropping my hairdryer and cracking the diffuser screw. Sometimes, the screw-in attachment part becomes too threadbare to attach. I remember duct-taping an attachment to my old hair dryer. This didn't work. These things are impossible with Dyson's magnetic attachments. Attachments for life!
The professional hair dryer costs approximately $50 more and has a heavier duty filter.
My straight, fine hair looks almost lifeless. My hair is flat against my head and looks even thinner than it really is. My hair hasn't been bleached in over a year. My hair is almost entirely natural, with a touch of highlighting at the ends. My hair is very oily without any color. I can last just one day between washes and my hair is still looking bad the next day. So, I am washing my hair more than ever before and doing all I can to keep my ends healthy and moisturized.

A resounding yes, yes, yes. It was unbelievable that a $400 piece of plastic could have such an effect on me. But I don't mind. My Dyson hair dryer is the best I have ever used. About 1.2 pounds. Although there are many hair dryers that weigh less than this one, Dyson claims that this hair dryer was "engineered to balance". I can feel it. The weight of the hair dryer is on top, so it doesn't weigh down my wrist and puts pressure on my wrist. It's also not heavy at the front.
You have the option of a beautiful presentation case, a stand, or you can be as creative as me and just keep it in your bathroom drawer.
My friend Amanda has curly 3B hair. I used it on her hair. The diffuser was used on Amanda's hair. I used all attachment settings except for the wide-tooth, which isn’t suitable for my hair. Please forgive me for not taking photos after I used the concentrated styler attachments and diffuser. My hair looked and felt great after using both attachment tools.

I mean fast when I say fast. I have thick, curly, 28-inch hair. That's quite a bit of hair. Diffusing my hair took me five minutes. This is a huge time saver in colder weather when I have to dry my hair for longer periods of time. A blowout took me approximately 20 minutes. And I'm no expert. If I had any experience with blowouts, I am certain it would have taken less time.
The Dyson Supersonic hair dryer was initially purchased to test on three hair types. However, I ended up testing it only on two hair types (my own and that of a friend). Although $400 seems like a large price tag for a hair dryer I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Dyson could diffuse my curly 28-inch hair in five minutes and caused less damage than traditional hair dryers.

There hasn't been a knockoff. However, you can let your hair air-dry for most of the process and then dry it with a dryer for the last few moments. This will give your hair a silky smooth finish without any heat exposure.
I was blown away when I bought the Dyson. It's slim, lightweight, and easy to use compared to other hair dryers. The Dyson is my favorite hair dryer. The Dyson's heat controls are among the best I have ever seen. I don't do too much damage to my hair even when I use a higher heat setting. The Dyson is a part of my routine that I enjoy, rather than fear and avoid.

My hair feels dry when I use blow dryers. My hair always looks frizzy and crunchy no matter what I do. This dryer has completely changed the way my hair feels after it's been dried. Dyson claims the Supersonic has a lower percentage of hair damage than it actually claims. However, I can tell you what my hair feels like after using a Dyson dryer (not fried) or when I straighten it (fried).
