Magnetic attachments are also very appealing to me. I have dropped my hairdryer, cracked the diffuser screw and been left without a diffuser attachment. Sometimes the attachment's screw-in is no longer attached because it becomes threadbare. I can recall duct taped one of my attachments onto my old hair dryer. It didn't work.
