Since the Supersonic's release, Dyson has also released three other attachments: the Flyaway Attachment (for smoothing out flyaways), Wide Tooth Comb Attachment for curling curly hair and the Gentle Air Attachment (for controlling heat and diffusing it to protect fine hair types).

About 1.2 pounds. Although there are many hair dryers that weigh less than this one, Dyson claims that this hair dryer was "engineered to balance". I can feel it. The weight of the hair dryer is on top, so it doesn't weigh down my wrist and puts pressure on my wrist. It's also not heavy at the front.

The Dyson's heat controls are among the best I have ever seen. I don't do too much damage to my hair even when I use a higher heat setting. The Dyson is a part of my routine that I enjoy, rather than fear and avoid.
