I bought the Dyson Supersonic hairdryer in order to test it with three different hair types.

    When I say fast, that is exactly what I mean. I have 28-inch long, thick, curly hair. That's a lot. Diffusing my hair took me five minutes. This is an amazing tool when it is colder and I don’t want my hair to air dry for half the days. A blowout took me just 20 minutes. I am sure it would have been quicker if I was more skilled at blowouts.

    Dyson Supersonic is a hair dryer that promises to be magical and has more features than any other. Dyson's Supersonic is described as being "engineered to protect hair against extreme heat damage, with quick drying and controlled stylisting to increase smoothness by 75%. Shine can be increased by up 132%. Frizz and flyaways can be decreased by 61%. *"
    However, I ended using it only for two hair types: my own and one of my close friends. Although it is expensive at $400, the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer can be used to dry my curly, 28-inch hair in five minute intervals and causes less damage than a traditional dryer.
