Dr Paul Johnson founded the Greenpeace Research Laboratory in 1987
The results of our analytical work are published widely - contributing to environmental debate and furthering scientific knowledge, as well as providing data to guide and support Greenpeace campaigns.
We regularly produce papers for national and international scientific journals and books, prepare specially commissioned reports, and publish technical notes. Often we work and publish in collaboration with other academic, governmental and scientific institutions.
And we work at the public-science interface - writing articles for the popular press, giving interviews and speaking directly to the public - helping to ensure that scientific reports and environmental data are as widely accessible as possible.
