Glastonbury 2002: soulmates

You bought a ticket. Now you're in. You've pitched your tent and cracked open a beer. It's Glastonbury 2002 and you're anticipating four days of hedonism and fun....

So get down to The Greenpeace Field! There's loads happening this year.

Learn to climb!
Join in one of our climbing skill-shares, learn from qualified instructors and practise technique on our spectacular climbing rig. Greenpeace climbers are renowned for the skill and bravery they deploy to highlight and stop environmental abuse around the world. Have you got what it takes?

Show off your skateboarding skills
Some of today's best skateboarders will be on the nearby ramp. Bring along your own board and show us what you can do.

Lounge @ Cafe Tango
Our organic food is out of this world. And this year we have VJs as well as DJs, showing how music can be animated and linked to digital visions, serving up a rich and varied entertainment menu in our 24hr lounge. Light entertainment and ambient video will feature throughout the day and late into the night, making this once again the place to be - and there won't be a GMO (genetically modified organism) in sight!

Meet your soulmate
Feeling relaxed and looking for someone to share the fun? We've teamed up with The Guardian to find you a soulmate for the weekend, or reunite you with a friend!.

Linger on the beach
It IS going to be sunny, so bring along your bikini, lie back and enjoy the sights and sounds of the seaside on our specially designed beach.

Take a HOT solar shower!
On the other hand...if it isn't...what could be better than a hot solar-powered shower? You don't need soap or shampoo - we provide the only biodegradable, eco-friendly version allowed. Do bring a towel and be prepared to queue - it's worth it!

Bring your kids
Green kids will be filling the field with noise and colour, as our workshops keep them safely entertained during the longest playtime of the summer. The virtual Rainbow Warrior wooden ship will be explored from top to bottom, transforming into a giant cinema screen at night, piloted by the crew from Addictive TV.

Experience 1 GIANT LEAP
Jamie Catto, film maker and founding member of Faithless and artist/producer Duncan Bridgeman travelled around the world last year to 'explore the unity in diversity', and they came back with treasure. See a preview of the magical DVD (not released until September) that accompanies the 1 Giant Leap CD and chart hit single 'My Culture'. Log onto www.1giantleap.tv for a taste of what's to come at Glastonbury this year.

And remember - Don't Buy Esso!
Look out for the Stop Esso campaign stall, near the main stage. They've got loads of 'Esso Sucks' temporary tattoos, lollipops and car stickers up for grabs, along with a couple of surprises...
