Fancy a practice session with the world’s number one footballer Lionel Messi, or maybe you’d like backstage passes to a Jamiroquai concert in Paris? Or perhaps you would prefer a Picasso to hang on your wall, or a signed print of an original Greenpeace photograph?
If any of these sound like something you’ve always dreamed of, now’s your chance to make it a reality. You can bid on them, and many more, at Greenpeace’s first celebrity auction, in aid of the new Rainbow Warrior III.
Forty items and experiences are up for grabs, including opportunities to meet celebrities including Jay Kay and Patricia Arquette, art pieces from Picasso and Damien Hirst, and memorabilia donated by a range of celebrities from Helen Mirren to William Shatner.
All money raised goes towards the new Rainbow Warrior, the world’s first purpose-built environmental campaign vessel. You can even bid for a 2-day trip on the new ship, to experience what it’s really like on a working Greenpeace ship.
The Rainbow Warrior III will be our eyes and our ears and she will be an integral part of bearing witness and taking action, which have been the keys to our success for more than 30 years. The Rainbow Warrior III will enable us to take action, year after year, anywhere in the world.
If these items are a bit out of your price range, you can still contribute to the Rainbow Warrior III by making a donation.
