Pick up a Picasso

Earlier this year one of our long-standing and generous supporters, Frederick Mulder, offered to help Greenpeace fundraise for the Rainbow Warrior. As an international art dealer specialising in Picasso, he gifted us a number of limited edition pieces, all part of a series of unique linocut posters created by Picasso for the southern French town of Vallauris between 1951-65.

So we put our thinking caps on and set up a range of ways for people to be in with a chance of owning one of these Picassos (which could be worth up to $15,000)! From selling raffle tickets at summer festivals, to auctioning individual prints on the specialist website CharityBuzz, we hope to raise at least £10,000 to help protect the planet.

You still have a chance to own your very own Picasso

If you are a collector of modern art or have always planned on investing in a Picasso but never got around to it, then why not bid on one of three prints shown on the right - they are being auctioned by Charity Buzz from 25th November to 19th December. If you win you’ll not only have your very own Picasso, but will have provided much needed funding towards our vital campaigns.

If an auction is a bit out of your price range, we've also got a draw for another of the prints. You have until midnight on 16th December to make a minimum donation of £10 here, and be in with a chance of winning this beautiful Picasso – “Exposition Vallaruis 1951”.

Good luck!
