Santas who ran for the Arctic in 2012

In December last year, 81 Santas ran through a London park, raising over £17,000 to help Greenpeace save their Arctic home.

This year, we’re aiming to get 200 Santas on our team and have set a massive fundraising target of £40,000!

So we need your help. Whether you’re an experienced marathon runner or haven’t run further than the end of the road, the Santa Run is a great opportunity to get a bit of exercise in and raise some money for our Arctic campaign.

It’s in Victoria Park, London on Sunday 8th December, with 5km or 10km routes to suit your level. Thousands of Santas are expected to take part. The minimum fundraising target is just £100, with a non-refundable deposit of £22. And the best part is, the organisers will give you a free Santa suit to run in!

Sign up here for the run, and then email us at fundraising.uk@greenpeace.org to let us know so wecan send you fundraising advice, running tips and maybe even some goodies to Greenpeace-ify your Santa suit.

And on the day we’ll be there to cheer you on and provide much-needed mince pies and mulled wine (once you’ve crossed the finish line of course!).

It would be great if you could join our team of Santas, or if you know of anyone who might be interested. If you need any more info please email us at fundraising.uk@greenpeace.org or call on 0800 269065.

Once you've signed up, join the event on Facebook.
