Commenting on a series of articles published on climate denial blogs about controversial remarks posted online by someone identified as a 'Greenpeace activist', a Greenpeace UK spokesperson said:
"The alleged author of these posts is not and has never been a Greenpeace member of staff and does not speak for us. The content and tone of the comments are completely at odds with the principle of non-violence written into our organisation's DNA, and we would never condone that kind of language from someone working for Greenpeace or indeed from anyone else."
