Sweden cancelled a shipment of 4.8 tonnes of spent nuclear fuel from a research reactor to Sellafield. Environment minister Kjell Larsson said the delivery had become "very difficult, if not impossible" to justify in the light of the current safety scandal, which has aggravated long-standing Nordic fury over radioactive discharges into the Sea. Mr Larsson has reportedly also asked Sweden's nuclear power authority to consider whether trade links with Sellafield should be broken off altogether...
