Last week I had the privilege to sail along the east coast of Scotland on board Greenpeace’s ship the Beluga II. This is the start of a two-month expedition documenting and investigating the impact of plastic in some of the most stunning and biodiverse areas of the UK.

Peaceful protest at Cuadrilla Fracking site
Most of Gill’s early mornings are spent travelling to her job as a costume designer from her home in Blackpool. But this morning was a little different. Today, Gill is one of twenty people going face to face with fracking firm Cuadrilla.
