Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox as Eurythmics, will be promoting Amnesty International and Greenpeace on their forthcoming tour called www.peacetour.net. At a private concert, on board the Greeenpeace flagship Rainbow Warrior II on the Thames in London, they pledged to donate all profits made by their tour to the two organisations. Concerts will take place across Europe, Australia and the US between September and December this year.
The decision was triggered by the desire of Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart to make a positive contribution to the environment and human rights at the start of the new millennium. They will be encouraging concert-goers and album-buyers to make a personal pledge of at least
