Polar bears are starving as climate change melts away the Arctic ice pack. BP plans to drill for oil the region.
While publicly BP is very concerned about climate change, it continues
to add to the problem by following an aggressive policy of oil
exploration. It is currently pushing ahead with the development of
Northstar, the first ever offshore oil development in the Arctic.
Not only will the controversial Northstar project add to climate
change, it also threatens up to a one in four risk of a major oil spill.
