OSPAR is an international convention charged with preventing and eliminating pollution of the marine environment in the North East Atlantic - the area most directly affected by Sellafield's radioactive pollution from discharges into the sea.
The OSPAR Commission will be meeting in Copenhagen at the end of June to discuss a proposal put forward by Danish Government to stop reprocessing immediately. Other governments also support an end to reprocessing.
The UK Government has the opportunity to vote for the Danish proposal - and to stop Sellafield's deadly activities. If it fails to do so, the UK will continue to deserve the tag of Dirty Man of Europe.
