Terms of Use

The plain-language rules for using this site. The one that matters most: everything here is information, never a substitute for a dentist.

Last updated

By using OralRadar, you accept these terms. If you don’t accept them, please don’t use the site. I’ve kept them in plain English, because rules you can’t read aren’t rules you can follow.

Using the site and its content

Everything published here is mine or used with permission, including the articles and testing notes. Images and page layouts are covered too. The material is for personal, non-commercial reading. Link to any page and quote a short passage with credit, but do not copy whole pages or scrape the site in bulk.

I work to keep every page accurate, and I cite the primary research behind each health claim. Even so, studies get revised, products get reformulated, and I make mistakes. I don’t promise the content is complete, error-free, or current at the moment you read it. Spot something wrong and I’d rather hear it: the contact page is right there, and the editorial policy covers how corrections get handled.

Not medical or dental advice

This site is information. It isn’t medical or dental advice, and it can’t replace a dentist.

It’s written by Eduardo Silva, a product tester. Not a dentist. Nobody here is a licensed dental or medical professional, and nothing you read is a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a prescription for your situation.

Two things are worth knowing about the products reviewed here. Dietary supplements are not approved before sale in the same way as prescription drugs. The FDA distinguishes health claims, nutrient-content claims, and structure/function claims, and each category follows different rules. Structure/function claims are not reviewed and authorized before marketing, while a claim that a product diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents a disease can place it under drug rules. That is why the exact wording and the supporting evidence matter.

So: a supplement is, at its best, a studied add-on to real care. Never a replacement. A cleaning, an exam, and treatment from a dentist or periodontist are the foundation. If you have pain, bleeding gums, a lasting change in your mouth, or any worry at all, see a dentist. Don’t delay professional care because of something you read here.

Talk to your dentist, doctor, or pharmacist before starting any supplement, especially if you’re pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or managing a health condition.

Affiliate links

I earn commissions. Some links here are affiliate links: click through, buy, and I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That relationship never changes my read on a product. I decide the pick first and attach the link second.

You’ll see this disclosed next to every product link, not just buried on one page, because that’s what the FTC’s Endorsement Guides require of anyone in my position. A commission is a “material connection,” and 16 CFR § 255.5 says it “must be disclosed clearly and conspicuously.” The same rules define that standard as difficult to miss and easily understood, and say that online it should be “unavoidable.” Hence the line under every button. The affiliate disclosure page has the full breakdown.

Links and services from other companies

I link out constantly: to the studies I cite, and to the official pages of products I review. I don’t control those sites and I’m not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or their own terms. Following an outside link is your call.

OralRadar is hosted by Google Cloud. The site also uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 for site measurement, Google Search Console for search reporting, a third-party email service for newsletter delivery, Gmail for direct messages, and ClickBank for affiliate attribution and the retail side of a purchase. Those providers’ terms apply to the services they operate, and the privacy policy explains what each one handles.

Site analytics is enabled by default unless an active Global Privacy Control signal or a saved browser opt-out disables it. The footer’s Privacy choices control lets you turn analytics off or back on. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization remain disabled either way. That control applies to OralRadar’s GA4 measurement; it does not change the separate practices of a product seller, ClickBank, or another site you choose to visit.

ClickBank processes purchases made through these offers

This is the one people miss, so it gets its own section.

I’m a reviewer, not the retailer or seller. When an offer uses a ClickBank order form, the purchase agreement is between you and Click Sales Inc. (ClickBank) under its Terms of Sale. ClickBank acts as retailer of record: it buys the product from the seller at wholesale and resells it to the customer, as its Accounting Policy explains. The product vendor may handle fulfillment and product support, while ClickBank’s receipt and published return policy govern the retail transaction.

I cannot see an order, change it, cancel it or issue a refund. Start with the support route and order details in the ClickBank receipt; contact the vendor when the receipt or product materials direct fulfillment or product questions there.

No warranty

The site and everything on it come “as is,” with no warranties of any kind, stated or implied. I don’t guarantee the site will be available without interruption, free of errors, or free of anything harmful. Any decision you make from reading it, including buying a product, is your own.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, OralRadar and I aren’t liable for loss or damage arising from your use of this site or your reliance on its content. That includes any dealings with a seller you reached through a link here.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms as the site grows or the law requires. When I do, the “last updated” date at the top moves. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated version.

For what the site collects and how any request gets handled, see the privacy policy. Questions about these terms can go through the contact page.
