November 9,2021—Senior politicians that include the Vice President for Economic Cluster, James Wani Igga, and other key leaders from the Bari community have sat down to resolve their differences and promised to burry the hatchets in order to promote the best interest of the Bari people in Central Equatoria and elsewhere in the country.
The political stalemate between Mr. James Wani Iga, Former Governor of Central Equoria State Wani Jadala and Former Minister of Interior Alfred Lado Gore has taken more than two years and is believed to have divided the Bari Community.
Throughout these years the leaders were reluctant to compromise their prides; however, they believe it is time to iron out their difference and forge new path forward.
In a statement extended to Nyamilepedia, the Press Unit of the Vice President for Economic Cluster announced that the Bari leaders have finally embraced one another and are asking their entire community to pardon them for the division inflicted by their political wrangle.
“.. The Bari key political leaders asked for forgiveness from Bari Community for what they have done wrong”, the statement reads.
“The differences among the Bari key political leaders have finally ended”, the statement added.
Huge population of Bari community gathered at Jubek Memorial Square over the weekend witnessing the signing of the document for reconciliation and unity of the prominent leaders.
This comes after pressure from religious leaders and elders who believes that being together in harmony and unity is far better than division.
” It is the will of the religious leaders, pressure group and the entire community for Bari leaders to be together as one people of the same community after they relies that thinks has gone wrong in the community if they disunited and divided”, the statement further emphasized.
According to the statement, the leaders have promised to never again allow bad politics to divide their community, saying that nothing should happen again between Dr. James Wani Igga and Gen. Alfred Lodu Gore.
The two leaders. Wani and Gore, shook hands after many years of bad mouthing one another and called their supporters to forgive one another and begin to reconcile.
Dr. Igga and Gen. Gore come from the same village, payam and Boma and gen. Augustino Jadala Wani from Mangalla payam.
